About Tokusetsu Unsosen (Kyutansen)
The IJN called auxiliary coalers "Tokusetsu Unsosen (Kyutansen)". Their task was to transport coals. Eight merchant ships were used as Tokusetsu-unsosen(Kyutansen) between 1937 and 1945.
