Renshu Junyokan

About Renshu Junyokan

Renshu-junyokan is a training cruiser. This class (ruibetsu) was newly set up in 1931 for holding cruisers as training ships which were not restricted by the London Naval Treaty. The IJN intended to enter Kuma type cruisers to the class, but not executed. Katori type, new training ships were desinged in 1938 and they were entered to the class.
