About Tokusetsu Kyunansen
The IJN called auxiliary salvage ships "Tokusetsu-kyunansen". Their task was to rescue and salavage ships. Two merchant ships, one captured ship and four raised ships were used as Tokusetsu-kyunansen between 1937 and 1945.
